Business Networking Reception on the occasion of the

FR vs IR 6 Nations Rugby Match

We 'kicked off' our first physical event of the year with a business networking reception at the Embassy of Ireland prior to the 6 nations rugby match on Saturday, February 12th in the presence of Ambassador Niall Burgess and Minister Thomas Byrne, Minister of State for European Affairs. Members and guests enjoyed glorious sunshine in the gardens before a very convivial lunch in the Embassy reception rooms. Thank you to our colleagues at Enterprise Ireland and Tourism Ireland and all our members present for making it such an enjoyable event!  A special mention for Pioneer member Stade de France whose team took to the floor to present all the stadium has to offer in particular with respect to the RWC 2023.

A Dialogue on Gender Equality & Diversity

on the occasion of Saint Brigid's Day

To celebrate Saint Brigid's day 2022 a Franco-Irish dialogue on gender equality and diversity was organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland. The captivating and lively discussion covered themes including gender equality in the workplace, the role of education, of governments, of leadership by example and community outreach. We were honoured to have Minister Élisabeth Moreno and Minister Josepha Madigan T.D. leading the discussion along with many business leaders from the Franco-Irish community to lend their opinions and share best practice. This event took place in collaboration with Embassy of Ireland in France, and we thank in particular Ambassador Burgess for his warm welcome along with Laura Dagg, Head of the Economic Unit, who moderated the discussion so effectively. Many thanks to all NetworkIrlande members who participated either in person or who followed the event via live-stream, with special thanks to Christine Loizy, Fiona Olivier & Richard Dujardin for their input.

See HERE for a quick resumé of top tips from some of our participants.

Saint Patrick's Day Trade Reception at the Embassy of Ireland

Ambassador Niall Burgess extended a warm welcome to representatives from NetworkIrlande, Enterprise Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Bord Bia at a trade reception on March 16th to mark Saint Patrick's Day celebrations. The reception was a great occasion to celebrate the strengthening commercial ties between France and Ireland and a welcome return to physical events at the Embassy.
