Companies have until September 15th to apply for one of the three award categories this year : Best Irish Company in France, Best French Company in Ireland and Franco-Irish newcomer. These awards are a great opportunity to promote your business activity and be recognised for your contribution to the franco-irish business space. Lyon 'Lunch & Learn'

NetworkIrlande's 'Lunch & Learn' series continues on Tuesday, September 12th, 2023, in Lyon! This is a great opportunity for you to exchange with fellow members in a relaxed setting over lunch and pick the brains of one particular member regarding their business activity and expertise. This month we are delighted to welcome Audrey Carney, Director at The HR Company, who will be sharing her insights on recruitment, retention and all things HR related.
Lunch will take place at Arsenic Restaurant, at 132 rue Pierre Corneille in Lyon's 3rd district, see here for directions. Attendance is free of charge. All attendees are requested however to pay for their own lunch, see here for menu.

Rugby World Cup 2023 Networking Evening
Friday, September 22nd, 2023
We have an incredible 'rentrée' event lined up on September 22nd, the eve of the Ireland vs South Africa RWC 2023 match in Paris. The event will have rugby at its heart with notably the presence of Ronan O'Gara who will be sharing his sporting insights and expertise. A cocktail reception and BBQ will be served in the wonderful surroundings of the Centre Culturel Irlandais in the latin quarter of Paris. Guests will be able to enjoy a temporary exhibition on-site exploring the France Ireland rugby relationship and there will also be live music and dance throughout the evening.
This is a very unique opportunity to network with fellow members and well over 300 business people brought together through this collaboration between NetworkIrlande, Tourism Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, the IDA, Bord Bia and the Embassy of Ireland to France and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Niall Burgess, Ambassador of Ireland to France and Minister Catherine Martin, Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

Ireland France Business Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner 2023

Summer drinks at Pernod Ricard HQ, Paris
Nearly 100 members gathered on June 21st to celebrate NetworkIrlande's new Chamber of Commerce status in the stunnng Skybar at our Pioneer Member, Pernod Ricard's Paris Headquarters. NetworkIrlande Board Member and Group Operations Director of Pernod Ricard, Peter Morehead welcomed all and highlighted the close relationship and mutual support enjoyed by NetworkIrlande and Pernod Ricard over the years. Ambassador Burgess then addressed guests, underlining the importance of the franco-irish business relationship and the role NetworkIrlande plays in supporting that interconnection. Both the Ambassador and NetworkIrlande President Richard Dujardin went on to laud the new Chamber of Commerce status and how it will help define and validate our mission going forward. A special mention of thanks was made to Juliette O'Conor, the grahic designer who did an excellent job revamping the NetworkIrlande kakémono to reflect our new status.
Guests were serenaded by the wonderful Liv Monaghan trio and treated to delicious refreshments in true Pernod Ricard convivial style.
Business Breakfast in Lyon
Members of the Franco-Irish business community from the Auvergne Rhone Alpes region got together on June 9th at the Consular offices in Lyon for a business breakfast to discuss the development of our network in the region and exchange ideas, proposals and business cards! Many thanks to General Consul to Lyon Ciara de Mora for welcoming us and to all who joined us from Lyon, Dijon and Annecy. Groupe ADEQUAT, The HR Company, Staycity Group, TIPPAGRAL SAS, Matrix Internet and 47ZERO were among the member companies represented along with Enterprise Ireland France and many individual professionals. This very fruitful exchange on venues, themes and the various activities that would be interesting and pertinent to the Franco-Irish business community in the region will help us plan our forthcoming events there as we look forward to expanding our reach and presence in the region.
